Our organic green tea is calming, light and perfect as a mid morning or afternoon pick up! The variety of our organic green tea is a high grade Chinese sencha.

Green tea does have caffeine in it, but it is a more lighter and gentle version. The name of the caffeine in tea is called L-Theanine and it is said to help with keeping focussed and alert, without those harsh caffeine jitters! 

Coming into this warmer weather, we love to make an iced green tea to sip throughout the day. And it's so simple to make! Simply add green tea to a bottle or teapot of cold water and then pop into the fridge. Your tea will gently infuse overnight. The next morning you can simply strain into your cup, jug or water bottle. Because you haven't used hot water, there's no risk of your green tea getting bitter or over-brewing. 

Want to get super fancy? Serve it in a glass jug with ice cubes and fresh strawberries! 

Tasting Notes
Well rounded, mellow, grassy and lemony.

Directions for 2
Put 1-2 heaped teaspoons in a teapot. Add water at 90 degrees celsius and brew for 1-2 minutes until desired strength achieved.

Approximately 20 serves per 60 grams.
