Our Golden Chai is a turmeric (haldi) based spicy chai blend. We hand blend organic turmeric chips with a delicious mixture of traditional Punjabi chai spices and high grade organic Assam black tea to create our signature Golden Chai. The Golden Chai is also available in a caffeine free version.

Our Golden Chai is very different to our 11 Spice Chai blend. The Golden Chai is designed for those wanting more of a spicy chai that is bursting with warming spices like cloves and ginger, whilst our 11 Spice Chai is a little more delicate and sweet. You pick!
At Chai Walli, we use only the finest quality ingredients. We start with an organic, fair trade black tea, sourced directly from the valleys of Assam. Our spices are delivered whole and we grind them fresh in our Sydney warehouse. By grinding the spices ourselves, it ensures we are creating the freshest and most aromatic spice blend possible! We use only the most amazing Ceylon (true) cinnamon, rather than the cheaper cassia cinnamon that you'll find in supermarkets. Directions for 2:
Use a saucepan to warm 1.5 cups of water.
Add 1-2 heaped teaspoons of chai and brew on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of milk, brew for 3 minutes, bringing to the boil.
Strain chai into glasses and add jaggery to sweeten if desired.
Golden Chai is 100% vegan, natural, sugar free and preservative free and comes in a caffeine free alternative.
