Wholesale Chai Australia: Supplying Cafés, Restaurants & Retailers
Chai is so much more than a drink.
For me, it is memory, family, hospitality and connection. It is the smell of spices filling the kitchen, the sound of chai bubbling away on the stove and the ritual of sitting down with someone over a cup of chai.
Chai Walli was born from my love of chai and a desire to share the chai I grew up with, while celebrating the incredible diversity and history of Indian chai culture.
Today, we supply boutique cafés, restaurants, retailers, hotels, wellness spaces and other businesses across Australia with specialty chai made with carefully selected tea and spices.
But for us, wholesale chai is not simply about supplying another product to a business. It is about sharing something that has a story behind it.
Wholesale chai for cafés, restaurants and retailers
We supply wholesale chai across Australia, with a range of blends suited to cafés, restaurants, retail stores, hospitality businesses and other venues.
Our range includes authentic dry masala chai blends, sticky honey chai and chai concentrate. We have many different blends and recipes, from turmeric to Australian native chai blends. We can also make custom chai and tea blends for your organisation as we have more than 40 different spices in our factory and a direct tea farm relationship with our tea suppliers.
Our blends can be used to create everything from a traditional masala chai to a chai latte, iced chai or a signature drink for your menu.
We also have caffeine free chai options for businesses wanting to offer customers an alternative to traditional black tea based chai.

Why Chai Walli?
There are a lot of chai products out there. We know that.
What makes Chai Walli different is the reason we started in the first place.
We wanted to create chai that felt connected to its roots.
Authenticity matters to us
There isn't one single recipe for chai.
Every family has their own way of making it. Every region of India has its own traditions, ingredients and flavours. Some chai is sweet and milky, some is full of ginger and black pepper, while others are fragrant with cardamom, cinnamon or cloves.
Chai has evolved over generations and across communities.
We don't want to take something with that much history and turn it into another generic café powder.
We want to celebrate the ritual, the spices and the culture behind chai while making it accessible to people here in Australia.
We are a women of colour run Australian business
Chai Walli is proudly founded and run by a woman of colour, with my Indian heritage at the heart of the business.
That matters to me.
There is something really special about seeing food, culture and traditions from migrant communities become part of the broader Australian story.
For me, Chai Walli is about more than selling chai. It is about preserving a little piece of our heritage and sharing it with people who may have never experienced chai in this way before.
When a café puts Chai Walli on its menu or a retailer chooses to stock our products, they are helping us keep that story going.
We care about where our ingredients come from
The ingredients in your cup have a story behind them too.
We care about sourcing quality tea and spices and, where possible, supporting small scale tea farmers and responsible supply chains.
We are continually looking at how we can make better choices around sourcing, packaging and the environmental impact of our business.
We also care about organic and responsibly sourced ingredients and work to make thoughtful choices about what goes into our blends.
For us, quality isn't just about how the chai tastes. It is also about understanding where it comes from and the people behind it.
Chai for Australian cafés and hospitality businesses
We understand that running a café or restaurant is about much more than finding a beautiful product.
You need consistency. Your staff need to be able to prepare it easily. Your customers need to enjoy it. And ultimately, it needs to make sense for your business.
We have developed our wholesale chai range with those things in mind.
Our chai can be used across different types of menus and prepared in different ways, depending on the style of your venue.
Whether you are looking for an authentic masala chai, a chai latte for your café, a caffeine free chai or something a little different for your drinks menu, we can help you find a blend that works.
Wholesale chai for retailers
Our chai is also available for retailers looking to offer something different on their shelves.
From our classic 11 Spice Chai to Golden Chai and our Australian Native Masala Chai, our range gives customers the opportunity to take the chai experience home.
We believe there is a growing appetite in Australia for products that have a genuine story behind them.
People want to know where their food comes from, who made it and why it exists.
That is something we care deeply about at Chai Walli.
